Overview
The ideal experience of Ice Cream was developed as a collaboration between SCAD and Lextant, an experience-centered research and design firm. The research process was rooted in the Lextant Methodologies.
With so many forms, shapes, colors, and flavors, ice cream is one of the most popular cold desserts throughout history. It has been enjoyed among different cultures, served for various celebrations, and even connects to our favorite childhood memories.
Our objective with this research is to open the possibilities of enjoying ice cream as an ideal sensorial experience. By having researched within a broad audience, we have realized how enjoyable ice cream can be; and how much joy it could bring to society.
The ideal experience of ice cream started with our primary curiosity on the perception of it, and how this particular dessert can produce a significant response within society.
